Pallet trucks are essential material handling tools for transporting pallets and containers on loading docks, warehouses, and industrial complexes. From moving heavy loads to helping load and unload inventory, manual pallet jacks are versatile material handling equipment. They require little to no training to operate and utilize to their full potential.
KLETON offers a variety of manual pallet trucks in many different configurations and rated loading capacities for numerous applications. Read the guide to learn about pallet truck specifications to help you select the right option for the job.
Pallet trucks come in various sizes for various applications; the length and width are the most common parameters. The length refers to the overall fork length. The width includes the frame width, the distance from the outside edges of each fork, and the width of each fork.
If the forks aren't long enough for your given pallet, it may lead to an unstable loading, which can be dangerous while transporting pallets. Knowing the fork width determines if the pallet forks will enter your pallets cleanly without clearance issues.
The capacity rating is the maximum weight the jack can hold without breaking or failing. Selecting a pallet truck with a suitable capacity rating can prevent equipment damage or injuries to the operator.
A pallet truck's lowered and raised heights indicate the lowest and highest possible position of the pallet truck forks. They determine the clearance to lift a given pallet.
When selecting a pallet jack, consider the material of the truck, especially for cold or wet conditions. A corrosion-resistant material is necessary in these conditions and extend the life of the equipment.
KLETON offers many types of pallet trucks for various applications and environments.
