Trade In or Trade Up: 3M DBI-SALA® and 3M Protecta® Fall Protection

Trade in or trade up your current fall protection harnesses, SRLs, and lanyards for new 3M Fall Protection equipment and get a rebate. The four ways to trade in, trade up, and save are:

  1. Trade in your competitive fall protection equipment* and purchase comparable**, qualifying 3M Fall Protection product(s)
  2. Trade in any brand of lanyard and purchase qualifying 3M Fall Protection Personal SRLs
  3. Trade in any brand of lanyard with non-3600lb gated hooks and purchase qualifying 3M Fall Protection Personal SRLs or lanyards
  4. Trade up your current 3M DBI-SALA® or Protecta® Harnesses and purchase a qualifying higher tier of 3M DBI-SALA® Harnesses

How to Submit Your 3M Safety Rebate Request

To participate, you must first register online on the 3M Safety Rebates Portal. After making a qualifying purchase, you must register the transaction through the portal and provide proof of purchase.

The proof of purchase must include:

  • Distributor name where the product was purchased (in this case, Tenaquip)
  • Purchase order number
  • Digital copy of your receipt of purchase showing the part number and price
  • Digital picture of decommissioned trade in product (e.g., harness with D-rings cut off, lanyard or SRLs with hooks cut off, etc.)
  • Quantity of each qualifying SKU
  • Date of purchase
  • A valid customer name, address, and phone number
