Description

  • Simulates the presence of an electrical vehicle, allowing the user to conduct tests in combination with appropriate test instruments such as a digital multimeter or oscilloscope
  • Use the FEV100 to verify an EVSE is working properly after install and during periodic maintenance or troubleshooting an EVSE if it is not delivering the appropriate charge
  • Perform a variety of tests including ground fault checks, insulation of wires, voltage and duty cycle to see max current available for charging all in one adapter
  • The FEV100 is designed to operate with EVSE's that follow SAE J1772 standards and safely integrates with the Fluke portfolio of test and measurement tools
  • There is no need to bring an electric vehicle onsite for EVSE testing: the adapter acts as an electric vehicle when connected to an EVSE for easy performance and maintenance testing
  • PE Protective Earth Pre-Test: verifies there is no presence of dangerous voltage at the ground terminal
  • CP Control Pilot Simulation: simulates communication and variable charging rate control vehicle signals that allow transfer from EVSE to vehicle
  • PE and CP Error: simulates Control Pilot (CP) signal short-circuited to Protective Earth (PE) and an interruption of PE conductor
  • GFCI Trip Testing: verifies that EVSE's ground fault circuit interrupter is functioning properly
  • Compatibility with the Fluke Portfolio: use compatible meters to measure voltage of both phases and leak currents; verify insulation and ground
  • Designed to comply with the SAE J1772 North American standard
