Control the Spread

• To prevent any further contamination, use personal protection gear

• Monitor the Influenza surveillance resources and reports (FluWatch)³
• Clean up and disinfect areas frequently, especially contaminated areas to avoid spreading bacteria⁴

Recuperate

• Deep clean all surface areas including frequently touched areas such as door handles
• Restock all cleaning products and personal protective gear
• Replace regularly air filters to reduce the spread of bacteria and prevent illnesses to spread
• Review administrative procedures to manage future outbreaks
• Ensure the facility is prepared for another outbreak
